A super special, one of a kind treasure featuring the rare and undeniable beauty of Psilomelane Dendrite.

Meticulously handcrafted in bare copper wire with a beautifully strong woven frame, bail structure and hand formed swirled detail, this is a large statement piece that carries a noticeable weight!

Adorned with a glorious grade AAA faceted Prehnite as the sparkly sun / heart of the piece that radiates unconditional - self - love & healing.

This treasure carries Egyptian-esque styled vibes, therefore I have lovingly named it Isis after the ancient Egyptian goddess of magic, healing and rebirth.

 

  • Psilomelane is an umbrella name for a group of hard black manganese oxides. An opaque stone with colours that vary from blue black, steel grey to iron black that is known as a stone of alchemy & magic.
  • Psilomelane Dendrite: An even rarer form of the above where the oxides have travelled through porous stones (this being Limestone but it can be found in others too) that creates natural and ever so beautiful pieces of art.
  • Pieces such as this are rare due to the soft structure of the base stone - many simply crumble on first cut. Therefore the process of creating them has to be done with extreme care & precision, which is why they're often glazed first to harden & protect.
  • Psilomelane Dendrite: Is known as the stone of Mother Gaia.
  • It is a supremely grounding stone, anchoring us to the Earth, that infuses harmony & creativity into its carrier.
  • This stone also holds the cyclic elemental wisdom of death, rebirth, release & renewal.

    • Dipped in a Liver of Sulphur 'bath', to give the piece an aged / antiqued, look & feel.
    • Polished, to further highlight the details.
    • Hand painted (twice) with high grade liquid varnish, to protect the patina from further aging.
